In conjunction with the Dart CBD Transit Center Construction System Irrigation Project - Modifications to the existing irrigation system at Thanksgiving Square was required. LTS was selected to provide plans, specifications and cost estimates for this project. Both conventional and micro-irrigation components were used in the redesign for the irrigation improvements at Thanksgiving Square Project.

Dart Lake Ray Hubbard Transit Center Irrigation Dallas, TX
Irrigation System Design - LTS Prepared plans, Specification and cost estimates for irrigating transit center site. Over 700 spray heads were used to irrigate the 5.7 acre site. Based upon DART's design criteria, Irrigation system components were selected to minimize the potential for vandalism.

Crowley Allsports Complex - Irrigation System Design - Crowley, TX
Plans, specification and cost estimates were prepared by the LTS Design Group for the City Of Crowley's sports complex at the Dionne Bagsby Park. LTS prepared an irrigation master plan for the 25 acre park, as well as irrigation construction plans for five baseball fields, two soccer fields and a football field at the All Sports Complex.

LTS prepared irrigation design plans, specifications and cost estimates for approximately 3 acres of turf, 4200 L.F. of streetscape and 108 trees along Central Blvd., Young/Canton and Marilla Streets were included in the Farmers Market Phase I Irrigation project in the Dallas' Central Business District.

Dallas Center - Irrigation Design Dallas, TX
Irrigation Consultant services were provided by LTS for the City Of Dallas Public works Department. Irrigation plans, details, specification and cost estimates were prepared by LTS for Main Street Renovations, Pegasus Plaza and Stone Place Park.

Eastside Water Treatment Plant - Irrigation Design Dallas, TX
Leonard Technical Services, Inc. provided irrigation consultant services on the Eastside treatment plant. The total project area included over thirteen acres of turf areas. Head selection for low precipitation rates to minimize erosion on the berms surrounding the sludge lagoons and particular attention to piping layout to eliminate excessive friction losses along the 35 degree slopes on the berms. LTS also calculated the pump requirement to boost existing static pressure of 43PSI to 90 PSI for proper system operation. In addition, an irrigation program and schedule was prepared by LTS to ensure the site could be irrigated within a 10 hour water window.

Alcon Laboratories Irrigation Improvements Fort Worth, TX
Approximately 11 acres of turf area required irrigation for a new construction project at Alcon Laboratories site in Ft Worth. LTS designed a system including 393 rotor heads and 570 spray heads operated by 52 electrically operated valves. Maximum system flow rate per zone was 144 gpm at 5fps. Proposed irrigation improvements were designed to operate with the existing pumping system capacity presently in operation at the Alcon central utilities plant.

North Crowley High School Irrigation Improvements Fort Worth, TX
Leonard Technical Services, Inc., provided irrigation design and consultation services for the new Crowley high School Phase I and Phase II. Irrigation improvements for Phase I and Phase II irrigation covered over 24 acres, including one (1) baseball field, one (1) softball field, one (1) band practice field, three (3) soccer fields, three practice football fields track infield and football stadium and 9 acres of turf area. The system for irrigation required a hydraulically operated central controller, eleven (11) hydraulically operated satellite controllers, 131 hydraulically operated valves. Large radius rotary head sand spray heads totaled 1240 and 1132, respectively, to irrigate the project site. Plans, details and specifications for a 1/3 HP hydraulic control unit and a 10 HP booster pump were also prepared by LTS. Total system demand is 441 gpm at 5 fps.

Carroll Jr. High School Irrigation Improvements SouthLake, TX
Leonard Technical Services, Inc., provided irrigation design and consultation services for the new Carroll Jr. High School in Southlake , Tx. Irrigation improvements for school irrigation project covered over 25 acres, including one (1) baseball field, one (1) softball field, one (1) band practice field, three (3) soccer fields, three practice football fields track infield and football stadium and 9 acres of turf area. The system for irrigation required a electrically operated central controller, five (5) electrically operated satellite controllers, 67 electrically operated valves. Large radius rotary head sand spray heads totaled 1240 and 1132, respectively, to irrigate the project site. Plans, details and specifications for a 30 HP booster pump were also prepared by LTS. Total system demand is 784 gpm at 5 fps.
